At the first WorkProTech council meeting in Chicago , we discussed our charter, general research design and leadership structure. We made amendments to our charter adding additional focus and clarity and specifically addressed the six general areas of interest to be included in the model. In order to manage the identification of variables to be tested in these areas, the following committees are recommended:
Committee on Time and Attendance Management
Committee on Employment and Recruiting
Committee on Training and Talent Management
Committee on Employee Satisfaction and Retention
Committee on Knowledge Transfer and Communication
Committee on Networking and Mobile Workforce Management

The Workforce Productivity Technology Council has selected their first full conference meeting to be held on October 9, 2007 at the InterContinental Hotel in Chicago, IL. The agenda of this first council meeting is to ratify the charter and framework.
Several council member companies will also be exhibiting at the Annual HR Technology Conference and Exposition from October 10th - October 12th at the Navy Pier.
